So I went back to my doctor Tuesday evening and she said she didn’t want to put me on more steroids because that was..IDK. Bad. Or something. Instead she gave me two days off from work and a bunch of Stronger-than-Aleve-but-doesn’t-actually-do-jack-crap-for-me pills. I still cannot stand without being in immense pain from my right butt cheek all the way down my leg to my ankle for more than about 5-10 minutes. I’m supposed to go back to work tomorrow but I don’t know how I can work if I can’t even stand up for 5 minutes without being in a LOT of pain.
I have another appointment with an orthopedic specialist on Monday afternoon and he’s probably going to schedule me for an MRI to find out what the bloody hell is going on with my nerves or whatever because this CANNOT continue. I’ve already used up half my sick days this school year as it is. I’m trying to be tough and just get through this, but holy CRAP is it hard.
