Right now I’m defining “luxury” as any item that’s not strictly necessary right now. And yarn definitely falls into that category.
Fiber Spider, who is definitely one of my favorite YouTube crafters, released a video for a wrap around granny ripple shawl yesterday.
I could totally see myself hooking this up in a DK weight yarn like Caron Skinny Cakes or maybe even a worsted weight cotton yarn like Caron Cotton Cakes. I am REALLY digging the Tropical Fruit colorway (in case anybody wants to send me some. Micheal’s? Joann’s? Herschner’s? Are ya’ll listening? LOL)
I also am considering just sucking it up and doing a month’s free trial (I think they’re still doing that, right?) on Disney +. Since I can’t go to the library right now, it would REALLY help me accomplish my “Gonna Watch Every Movie in the MCU in order” thing I’ve been working on for a LONG time now. I got stuck at “Captain America: Civil War”. D : Oh well. It is what it is.
We did rent Frozen II the other night and I know that both Greta Gerwig’s version of “Little Women” and the horrible CATS movie that flopped at the box office over Christmas are coming to Redbox soon. Like, in two weeks I think. I can’t wait! I am SO ready to hate-watch CATS. I really am.
In the mean time, I’m watching a LOT of stupid crap on Youtube and have started binging this show called Orangutan Jungle School on Hulu. Because who doesn’t like baby orangutans, right?
