Quarantine Day 73–I’m a little salty about this and probably shouldn’t be, because it’s a first world problem

My local rec center, where I go to use the gym and take a few classes, has announced that when they open on June 1, they’re only allowing patrons in who’ve made a reservation. And you cannot make that reservation more than 24 hrs in advance.

Which OK..I get it. But I’m afraid that I won’t be able to get any reservation at all because the page will be bum-rushed and there won’t be any slots available. They’re also limiting the number of people allowed to take classes (which have already had their schedules published) and I’m afraid it’ll be the same thing. I want to take X class, but it’s been filled up and there aren’t more than one class per day.

It’s a petty thing to be salty about, I know and a total first world problem. And sure, I could continue to go hiking but it’s Texas and it’s summer and it’s hot AF. While I don’t mind hiking in the heat normally, this year it just seems to be taking more of a toll than usual because I’m so out of shape right now due to not really being able to exercise for several months. I am WAY more out of shape than I thought I was going to be and my body is like, “Oh Imma punish you good, girl. This used to be a piece of cake, well NOW IT AIN’T, LADY.”

I know. I know. I shouldn’t be even a little salty about this because it’s a stupid thing to be salty over.

But I’m not SUPER salty…just a little sprinkling of salty, which is OK, maybe.
