Me (on my HOA’s FB page): With the pool opening today, will there be somebody there to ensure that there is oly 50% capacity in the pool area? Also, what if we’ve already turned in our waiver (did that on Weds last week after we received it) but for some reason our card doesn’t work? We’ve had that issue in the past, even before COVID-19.
Them: the waiver states that you as in individual will be responsible for adhering to the rules in the waiver. The Capacity is part of that. The hoa can’t pay someone to count people all day. Use common sense and if you’re not comfortable, leave and come back when it’s less crowded. We hope the neighbors can manage themselves.
Me:
Because I know if I ask WHY they can’t afford to pay somebody to sit there all day and manage things, they’ll tell me “It’s not in the budget.” And if I ask to see a copy of the budget or the financials, they’ll be “No. We can’t show you that. #Sorrynotsorry.” I’ve been down that route before and honestly, as much as we pay them, they SHOULD be able to pay somebody to sit there all damn day.
