I’m not a big drinker, but seriously…after today, I might consider it.
So one of the assignments that came in this morning for my son was an assignment from his tech theater teacher. He wanted the entire class (which is IDK how many kids..I’m assuming between 30 and 60 but I can’t swear to that) to make TikTok videos. Now, aside from knowing that TikTok is a Chinese-based social media platform, I know absolutely NOTHING about it.
The assignment also included directions for lighting, props and TWO costume changes. AND music. I am not a director, nor a film editor, nor do I have the right equipment to film ANYTHING really. In my head, you’d at least need some sort of tripod to keep the camera from being all shaky.
I read the assignment.
Twice.
And I was like, “Seriously? What kind of supplies does he think we keep on hand?”
My son ended up writing a report on what his video’s topic would have been, what kind of costumes and stuff he would’ve used. His idea would’ve been to dress up like Dr. Fauci and make a video on handwashing, social distancing and other ways to keep yourself safe during the pandemic.
I’m not a big drinker, but I can see how this whole homeschooling thing has made some parents start day drinking. Jeeze.
